Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca city in Peru in South America. It’s one of UNESCO world heritage sites. It’s also one of the Modern Wonders of the world. The Incas built this city on a mountain slope. Machu Picchu city stands 2430 metres above the sea level. It’s in the middle of the dense forests in high mountains. The mount Huayna Picchu overlooks the ruins of Machu Picchu.
The Incas lived there between 1200 and 1450 AD. The Incas built houses, fields, gardens, terraces and temples by cutting the rock. They built an observatory to look at the sky and the stars. The Spanish armies invaded Peru and then, the Incas left Machu Picchu. The city was left unfinished.
Nobody knows for sure why they left their city. The Spanish never found Machu Picchu or the lost city during their invasion in Peru. Machu Picchu is very difficult to get to because it is so high in the mountains. Most people did not know it was there. Nobody could determine its certain location. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps
If you can’t make your mind up
We’ll never …………….. started
And I don’t wanna wind …………….
Being parted, broken-hearted
So if you …………….love me, say yes,
But if you …………….. dear, confess
And ……………….. don’t tell me
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps
Perhaps
Perhaps
Perhaps

[Verse 1]
And now, the end is ………………..
And so I face the ……………….. curtain
My friend, I’ll say it……………….
I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain
I’ve lived a ……………… that’s full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much …………… than this
I did it my way
[Verse 2]
Regrets, I’ve had a ……………
But then ………………….., too few to mention
I did …………….. I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I ……………. each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, ……………….. more than this
I did it my ………………
[Verse 3]
I’ve loved, I’ve laughed and cried
I’ve had my fill, my ……………. of losing
And now, as …………….. subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a ………………… way
Oh, no, oh, no, not me
I did it my ……………..
[Chorus]
For what is a ………………., what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly ………………..
And not the words of one who kneels
The record ………………….. I took the blows
And did it my way
